OVO From Cirque du Soleil in Uniondale, NY

I have been wanting to see a Cirque du Soleil show for as long as I can remember, but have never had the chance to see the show until now. I had the opportunity to take along my boyfriend and my two nieces and could not wait to share the experience of OVO with them.

I attended OVO From Cirque du Soleil tonight in Uniondale, New York at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. It was a colorful ecosystem full of amazing ants, flexible fleas, crazy crickets and more. Seeing all the talented dancers up on that stage is what really makes the show what it is. All of the dancers are on queue and know exactly what they are doing and when.

There are a lot of the stunts done up in the air which I could never imagine doing, but these folks got it down without hesitation shown on their end. One other thing I found weird, but entertaining, the bugs that come out and speak in their own language in between scene changes to keep you occupied and entertained.

One thing I can say for my first experience, this was a weird show! However, a VERY fun and entertaining one. I cannot wait to see some more variations of Cirque Du Soleil in the future.

I think the best part, other than the show itself, was watching my nieces faces as all of them did their tricks, flips, and amazing stunts. All of us were very pleased with this show and I am glad I got to experience this along with my family. I personally think this is great for any age, child to grandparents.
