Petcurean “GO!” Cat Food Review!
How many of you have pets? I’m sure the answer is most of you, whether it’s a cat, dog, or even just fish, they are all like family. With that in mind, the point is they all need taken care of in one way or another. When it comes to my cat she can be a big pain a lot of times but in the end she is still my little kitten and I want to make sure is getting what she needs. The main focus of course is keeping her fed, which these days there are soooo many different brands of cat foods out there, which can get very confusing. Since my cat is so picky with different foods, I keep trying to find one that she likes but at the same time is good for her….which leads me to today’s brand…Petcurean!
I was given the opportunity from Petcurean to try out one of their bags of cat food, which I ended up getting GO! Sensitivity+ Shine Freshwater Trout + Salmon Recipe since that was the one I was able to find at my local pet store. This specific brand of cat food is good for cats with food sensitivities and specific dietary needs, which as far as I am aware my cat does not. However, I thought maybe that is why she avoids certain foods, and I have just not noticed yet so I decided to give it a try.
When I first poured the cat food in my cats bowl she ran to it like normal, smelled it, then scratched the floor 🙁 in other words she is done. So I thought I would try mixing some of her regular food with it after letting it sit until the next day, she picked around it. Then I tried adding some can food, while she did eat some more than the past few days it was still not a lot. Unfortunately this is nothing new with my kitten, she will avoid most news foods for a few days then slowly (maybe) end up liking them. It is really however starting to seem like my strange little one only likes colored cat food for some reason (not even sure she can tell). So while this version of Petcurean Go! did not work out the past two weeks I plan on continuously adding a small amount to her normal cat food each day, maybe she will get used to it.
Why am I still trying to get her to eat this specific food? Because I feel that Petcurean is good for my cat and will help keep her healthy. Here is a list of the benefits, just for this specific version:
- Premium quality trout
- Added Taurine to aid vision and heart function
- Pre and probiotics to support healthy digestion
- Omega oils for healthy skin and coat
- Gluten free
- Zero by-product meals, added growth hormones, or artificial preservatives
- Zero beef, wheat, corn or soy
Also Petcurean is a family owned business who does not use wheat gluten, or rice protein concentrate, they only use the most premium sources of protein.
With the benefits of this food I feel good when it comes to taking care of her, that she will be getting the correct nutrients. Also, along with the brand I tried, there are two other GO! dry foods to try out: FIT + FREE Chicken, Turkey + Duck and DAILY DEFENCE Chicken. Along with the dry cat food, Petcurean has canned food which I think my cat would be more open to trying since I rarely have problems with her and wet food.
Overall, in my opinion I think you should give this brand a try based on the benefits, not only do they have cat food, they also carry dog food. If you are questionable about trying out this food they do have a 100% guarantee, where if your pet does not like it, it can be returned to the store for a refund. I like that this company stands behind there product, so the customer can feel confident. So what are you waiting for, check out a store near you or order online!
