There are so many different food delivery services out there these days and only a handful of them show up at your door still fresh…..

I can say that the American Farmer Produce Box is one of them!

The package itself came well packaged with air wrap and ice packs so everything was kept fresh and cool, even 24 hours after it arriving since I forgot I brought the box in the house. Oops!!

My first thought when opening my box from American Farmer was “Wow, that is a lot more than I was expecting!” I received a very large assortment of different vegetables and fruits including grapes, tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, sweet potatoes, okra, onions, avocado, cauliflower, broccoli, lemon, mushrooms, peppers, garlic, lettuce, pears, and cabbage. WAY more than I thought would arrive! Each box contains 18 Lbs of produce by American Farmers, which as you can see, is a good variety.

You can tell all the items were hand-picked in this box so I would receive the best looking items and they would arrive fresh even through shipping. I can say I am very pleased with everything that I received and I cannot wait to turn these veggies into a meal. I have already dug into the grapes which were my after-dinner snack…and they were juicy and delicious!

I also decided to make some chicken alfredo in my pressure cooker with some of the peppers and it turned out great with a bunch of flavor from the peppers 🙂

The best part about this box for me is I do not need to leave the house. I have not been able to make it to farmers’ markets since having the little one and the grocery produce is never as good it seems.
