Old El Paso Frozen Entrees Review!

“Disclosure: The information and prize pack have been provided by Old El Paso® through Platefull Co-Op.”

I was given the chance to try out a few different frozen meals from Old El Paso thanks to Plateful Co-Op. Along with that I received some nice plates/trays and margarita glasses to use in the future.

How many of you knew that Old El Paso had frozen meals? I did get to try out one variety a while ago which I shared about also, so when I got the chance to try some more varieties out I couldn’t resist. The new Old El Paso meals are designed for two, which makes it incredibly easy to make a quick meal. If it is just you, you know you will be full in the end, or have leftovers for the next day. The new meals come in eight different flavors, so there should be at least one for everyone in your family.

In order to come up with these new meals chef Jonathan traveled to Mexico to come with these recipes, so you know some thought went into these handcrafted meals.

When it came to choosing my four meals, it was not an easy decision since I want to try them all, but I ended up with Chicken Enchiladas, Shredded Beef Enchiladas, Chicken Burritos, and Chicken Quesidillas. My favorite out of the four is the Chicken Quesidillas, they are quick to make, and taste great. With some foods you have the issue of it tasting like one bland ingredient, but that is not the case with these meals, you can taste the different ingredients used. As you can tell from the picture above, I overcooked the Enchiladas a bit, but they were still good in the end.

So if you are looking for something new to try out with your family and like Mexican food, you should give these try. I found these in my local Walmart in the frozen section, but I am sure most grocery stores are carrying them also. No more having to go out to eat to get your favorite foods already prepared, and cooked quickly!
