JORD Ely Series in Maple Wooden Watch Review!

These days when it comes to looking at the time, we are drawn right to our cell phones, since it seems so convenient and we basically live on them. A lot of us have forgotten about the simplicity of a watch, myself included, and how easy it is to just glimpse at our wrists. When it comes to watches, what is the first picture that pops in your head? For me, it would be the classic silver-colored round watch with the black band. Did any of you think of a wooden watch? I’m sure not many of you, and some of you may think I am a little crazy….”Wooden watch, yeah right??!!”

However, I was recently introduced to a company called JORD, who you guessed it, make wooden watches. When I was first contacted, I was thinking to myself “How can these watches even be cute?” but after ACTUALLY looking at them, my mind changed quickly. I was given the opportunity to select one of the watches JORD makes, and that means 18 different selections of women watches to choose from. In the end I chose a watch from the Ely Series in Maple, because it was a basic but classy look.

I will say I am in no way a fashion expert, but I thought this watch would fit with almost any color, which was another reason I chose this design and color. When my watch arrived, the first thing I noticed was the wonderful wooden box the watch comes in, I love it! This is the perfect box for these watches!

Then of course, the watch was the next thing for me to check out….

Actually seeing this piece in my hand, the quality of these wooden watches is unbelievable, and the product itself is very well made. When ordering you have the option to measure your wrist and have it sized before it even arrives. I will say, my watch fit me perfectly, which made me very happy, and I could start wearing it right away.

The Ely Series in Maple watch has a slightly smaller dial and band compared to their Fieldcrest Series. Also, if you are one that is always forgetting the date, this watch helps you out with that. On the right side of the watch, the day is displayed, so you will never forget again. One issue that can arise from some of the classic watches, putting them on yourself! I found this watch to be very easy to put on and take off. To open the watch, just push the tabs on the sides, and to close it, fold over the section and latch it in place. So Easy!

One major plus JORD watches have compared to cell phones….Style! In my opinion JORD watches are so much more elegant and classy compared to carrying around a big old cell phone. Not only will you still be able to see the date and time, you have one less thing to carry, and the replacement looks so much better. I received my watch just in time for Easter, and I found it to be the perfect accessory to wear to Easter dinner ?

So if you are looking for that new, unique, stylish accessory, I would give JORD watches a try. The watches do run from $120-$295 which may be a bit pricey for some of you, but I think they are worth it. If you are still hesitant, the watches come with a 12 month warranty, which should make you feel a lot better knowing the company stands behind their products.
