Make Your Child’s Summer, with Dutch Wonderland!!

Are you looking for something to do as a family this year and will be on the East Coast? How about stopping by Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, PA?! Dutch Wonderland is the “Kingdom for Kids” and you would be the best parents (in your children’s eyes) giving your children a memory of a lifetime.

Dutch Wonderland currently has more than 35 rides, attractions, and shows, which is more than enough to keep you and your family busy for the day.

A few years ago, my mom and I took my oldest niece, she had the best time on all the rides. Even with her very shy self, she was ready to jump on the rides and have fun. She loves horses, so the carousal was her favorite, and she did not want to leave it. Of course the memory that primarily sticks with me, as we were on our way out of Duke’s Lagoon, there was a horrible mess coming out of my nieces bathing suit…gah! Despite this memory, up until the very end (luckily), it was a TON of fun!

Speaking of Duke’s Lagoon, in case you do not know what it is, it is a zero-depth water play area for all the children. Even though it is for children, I had a ton of fun running under the water with my niece, and can guarantee you will also. It features slides, bubblers, water geysers and interactive water elements. Great for a hot day!

One area of the park that I have not had the chance to experience, but sounds pretty awesome, Exploration Island – Where Dinosaurs Come to Life! “Encounter over 20 lifelike dinosaurs along Prehistoric Path and discover their story. Dig up the past at Dino Dig where history is uncovered every day, and then take a ride on the Sunoco Turnpike. Finish your visit to Exploration Island with a trip aboard the Gondola Cruise!” Doesn’t this sound like a ton of fun for the dinosaur lover in your family?!

When you are ready for a break, there are plenty of dining areas and choices for your family to relax. This year, new for 2016, bean sprouts, features healthy food for kids, and delights adults with a happier mealtime.
