Chocolate Covered Strawberries #Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Box of Strawberries

4 oz Chocolate Bar or Chocolate Chips

2 1/2 Tablespoons of Shortening

13 grams (or 2 pieces) White Chocolate (Optional)

Sauce Pan

Wax Paper

Directions:

In a small sauce pan, melt the chocolate and shortening, stir until all the lumps are gone.
Insert toothpicks into the tops of the strawberries.
Take the strawberries by the toothpick and swirl them in the chocolate
Lay the strawberries on a pice of wax paper until they dry

For the White Chocolate:

Melt the white chocolate the same way in the sauce pan, adding 1/2 tablespoon of shortening
Take your spoon and drizzle the chocolate over the strawberries
